Description
Balboa Peninsula is home to Newport Municipal Beach, the main stretch of sand in Newport Beach. It has three miles of beaches and a long concrete boardwalk that intersects two large piers (Newport Pier & Balboa Pier), as well as the Balboa Fun Zone amusement park and Balboa Paviliion—some of Newport’s most famous landmarks. The Wedge is the most well-known spot for surfing, body boarding, and body surfing, and is found at the tip of the peninsula.
