Description
When you leave Road 6300.057, you face a steep climb through a timber harvest area for about 1 mile. Mountain beavers have been digging tunnels in the area, making the trail hazardous for stock travel. The trail climbs to its junction with Purcell Mountain Trail No. 284 and continues to the summit of Purcell Mountain, the site of a former fire lookout.
Not recommended for bicycles or horses.
